On December 9 & 10, 2011, the Randolph Road Theatre debuted The Heroes' Tale, the sensational show written by Cheryl Butler-Poole and directed by Gregory Poole.

With two house-filled performances, The Heroes' Tale proved to be the power play of 2011. The Heroes' Tale is the captivating story of love, laughter and loyalty flanked by betrayal on a grand scale.

Told from the perspective of four aging black men that time seemed to have forgotten,   one unforeseen event caused them to elevate themselves to neighborhood champions.  Named after one of Washington, DC's famous neighborhoods, the Dupont Circle Heroes experience dramatic events that include racial conflict and wrongful imprisonment.
